“Working with Hussey has been tremendous. Going back many years – everyone who has supported the University has been great. So, when the time came for us to replace the old wooden Hussey bleachers we had had since 1962 in the 90s, Hussey approached us with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and substantial cost savings to be the beta tester for their new product – the MAXAM,”stated Al as he reflected on his time on working with Hussey as the beta testers for the MAXAM platform. “As we worked through any bugs we had on one side, and when we hosted the 98 Women’s final four with 2400 people in the building, we saw how good they stood up to the crowd. After the bugs were worked out, we wrapped up the remaining installation on the other side of the gymnasium, and since then, they’ve stood the test of time and are still in good condition.”

The university rigorously tested the system under various conditions – making the 25 years of its installation and use more like 25 dog years – demonstrating the exceptional durability and reliability of the platform. While maintaining the system over the years, the MAXAM bleacher system has continued to serve the university and will continue for years to come.
